Work being prepared for bronze pouring

Work being prepared for bronze pouring

Antique african head cast from a run down cracked original. This has taken almost three weeks to restore, in particular work was done to the face (creating a much smoother finish and ironing out cracks from mould). A brand new base has been constructed with defined detail that corresponds to the design as a whole. This will be one of many pieces being shelled and poured by next friday. Finished patterning will be either tradition black, or burnout finished.
